Hatari macOS nightly builds

June 19, 2017

For a few years now I’ve helped out the excellent Hatari Atari 16/32 bit emulator project with macOS builds. However, the Hatari release cycle is about once every year and I’ve myself noticed that the developments that take place in between are very useful and so I’ve sporadically made development builds available as well. Sometimes. When I’ve felt like it.

Of course, I can do better. While I don’t have a 24/7 macOS server running, and thus can’t completely automate a nightly build setup, my laptop will now try to produce new builds (whenever the source repository has changed) during other usage and publish them here: Hatari macOS nightly builds.

Please let me know if you find this useful, and if there are any changes I could do to make it even better.

    Excellent, thank you!

Do you run Hatari only Fullscreen, or do you know of any method to keep the Ataris mouse pointer in sync with the Mac one? I always end up “manually synchronizing” it in a edge of the Atari screen.

hey, do you ever look at your nightly builds? some wrong logs there…

Thank you for letting me know! The builds were actually fine, which is why I got no notifications, but the syncing from the build server to the public web page was not updating. Fixed now.

Thanks for letting me know – the build server had stopped syncing with the public folder. Fixed.

sigh. The new solution that fixes any syncing issues had a bug … sorted now, new build available.

Thanks Marcin – had to accept new dev contracts from Apple. Will make the notifications of failed builds much more visible to me.

    Hello,
the latest dev version is dated at 16.08.
In meantime there weren’t a couple of fresh releases?

Thank you! I had forgotten to checkout the master branch after having made the tagged release build for v2.4.1.
